We are slowly in the process of updating the site and getting it running properly, so please bare with us as we work to make this happen. The forum is up and running, you may find the link over to the left. We are also working on the Gallery and archive. The Gallery is where we will be posting pictures of our meets and adventures, and random content to do with Drift in Australia. The Archive is where we shall submit old news posts for your perusal download.</p> </br> <h3>The Who</h3> <p> SwitchDrift is an amalgamation of Switch (slang for our hometown of Ipswich) and Drift (the sport/art of sliding around a corner in a motor vehicle in a controlled fashion).</p> </br> <h3>The Why</h3> <p> We feel that as an up and coming motorsport in Australia, Drift needs to have more of a push into the mainstream. To that end we want to give friendly pressure to our members to practice and achieve the skill level that you can see in the D1GP. This does not mean that we will be rude or mean to people who do not want to, or do not feel ready to go on the track, but we will give our best opinion or what our members may be doing wrong, or help with setting their cars up.</p> </br> <h3>Who can Join?</h3> <p>Anybody, we care not whether you have a car, or whether you're as into Drift as we are, we only ask that if you wish to join us, you do so without a chip on your shoulder.
